William (Bill) V. Fashing, Jr., 82, died on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017, in Hood River, Ore. He was born in St. Paul, Minn., on Nov. 7, 1934.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held on March 18 at 3 p.m. at the Springhouse Cellar Winery, 13 Railroad St., Hood River.
