Three from HRV compete at Hayward Field

HOOD RIVER – Three Hood River Valley athletes competed at Hayward Field this past weekend in the Oregon Relays.
The event attracts thousands of athletes from throughout the nation to Eugene.
Senior Syl Perrin competed in the two-mile run, where runners are timed enroute to the finish. The race enabled Perrin to register a season best in the 3,000 meters of 10:43.36; and personal bests in the 3,200 (11:25.53) and two-mile (11:29.73).
Sophomore Savina Davis ran the 800 and clocked a season best 2:27.97. Sophomore Georgiana Williams ran the 200 in a personal best 26.59 seconds, the No. 10 all-time mark in school history.
