The Riverhawks were led by the individual wins from River McClure, Derek Goulart, and Willow Ziegenhagen. McClure dipped below 40 seconds again in the boys 300 meter hurdles, posting the fastest time at 39.95. Goulart cleared 6 feet, 4 inches to win the boys high jump. Ziegenhagen won the girls high jump at 4-10, and she also was third in the javelin at 111-11 (personal best).
Ziegenhagen also ran a leg on The Dalles’ 4x100 relay along with Marie-Louise McCracken, Ebany Mondragon, and Sydney Newby (55.74). Newby had a busy day, placing in the high jump at 4-8, and the javelin.
Senior Alaina Casady placed in two events with her distance double; she was fourth in both the 1500 (4:59.25) and later the 800 (PR 2:30.46). Kestley Hodges and Abigail Pope also scored team points with their seventh and eighth places in the 3000. Hodges also was fourth in the javelin.
