Sports impacted by weather… again
Tuesday’s Horizon boys and girls basketball games at South Wasco County that were postponed due to the ice storm have been rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 24 at South Wasco County at 7:30 p.m. Thursday’s HRV varsity wrestling match at Pendleton has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m.
Gorge Roller Girls season opener Jan. 28
The Gorge Roller Girls return to the track Saturday, Jan. 28 for their home debut at The Dalles Readiness Center at 402 E. Scenic Drive. The event will feature a double-header with the first bout between the GRG All Stars and Jet City’s Camaro Harem and the second bout between the Cherry Bombers and the River Reapers. Doors open at 4 p.m. and the first bout starts at 5 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase at gorgerollergirls.org. Children ages 6 and under get in free.
