Our economy in Wasco County is a key concern for all that call it home. While our economy has elements that drive it locally, we rely heavily on Portland and Oregon’s overall economy. We need Portland and our state to be firing on all cylinders when it comes to the economy.

Oregon’s proximity to markets helps it succeed in trade with the Far East and other countries of the world. Polices that support these trade economies are important to Oregon and therefore have an impact on our local area.
