Letter to the editor: Honesty thanked

Due to schedule changes, I was a little late. The other team and their parents had arrived before I set up to take tickets. The delight was that, as parents came out for concessions as the game progressed, they all came over and offered the money for game entry. I know my crowd and would know who had paid.

It is not uncommon for people to try to slide by without paying. Not this group of adults. The Wheeler-Condon parents were so honorable they sought me out to pay me.

After I had turned in the money box and was watching the rest of the games, a lady sought me out to pay the $4 fee for someone I had not seen or worried about. It really made my day!
