To the editor:

I grew up in The Dalles. I watched Bridget Bailey grow up, taught her in the sixth grade, and bid her farewell when she went to college. I congratulated her on becoming an attorney and welcomed her back to the farm. She has raised a wonderful daughter and works hard every day. My work as a budget committee member for 19 years, and my experience in Wasco County, has taught me to recognize a leader. This is what Bridget Bailey is and she would be a fine county commissioner.
