THE DALLES — The Wasco County Clerk’s Office will move to a new location on Tuesday, Feb. 18, to 401 E. Third St., Ste. 100, in the Wasco County building (across from Wells Fargo).
The office’s phone number, 541-506-2530, and website, co.wasco.or.us/departments/clerk, will remain the same.
“This move will improve services and convenience for residents,” said a county press release.
The move to the new space has begun, and no disruption of services is anticipated.
“We are excited about this move and the opportunity to better serve the citizens of Wasco County,” said Chrissy Zaugg, Wasco County clerk. “The new location offers additional transparency of the elections process and improved ease of access for our customers. We look forward to welcoming everyone to our new office.”
The Wasco County Clerk’s Office is responsible for real estate recordings, conducting elections, issuing marriage licenses and facilitates the Property Value Appeals Board.
