‘Warm the Night’: Warming Shelter holds kick-off at new location

The Hood River Warming Shelter will hold a “Warm the Night” silent auction of services 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, to kick off its 2015-16 season at its new location, the former “Fruit Tree” building, 4041 Westcliff Drive. An entry donation of $5 is suggested.

Nov. 15 will be the first day of the shelter’s 2015-16 season, which will run through mid-March. Anyone in need of a night’s shelter may check in at 6 p.m. and stay until 7 a.m.; bedding is provided along with an evening and morning meal.
