Names of students who have made the Scholastic Honor Roll for Summer 2023 have been announced by Oregon State University. A total of 3,385 students earned a 3.5 GPA or better to make the listing. To be on the Honor Roll, students must carry at least six graded hours of course work.

Students on the Honor Roll included students from Hood River, Sherman and Wasco Counties. Cascade Locks’ Jessica Bernier, a senior studying botany, made the honor roll, as did many students from Hood River: Hailey Betts, a senior studying agricultural sciences; Ciena Brittle, a junior in business administration; Lexi Burck, a senior studying biohealth sciences; Michael Hasegawa, a post-baccalaureate student studying nutrition; Diane Magana, a senior studying teaching; Jessica Nickelson, a sophomore studying biohealth sciences; Cael Price, a senior in mechanical engineering; Julio Ramirez-Samperio, a junior in psychology; and Jack Schofield, a senior studying computer science.
