Panther Kids wrestling sent 17 kids to Tillamook's 36th annual "Battle for the Badge."
"We like to travel to different tournaments where we don't face a lot of the clubs we see other weeks," said head coach Vidal Peña, "It also benefits a great cause, and we like to support it."
The tournament benefits the families of law enforcement officers that have been killed in the line of duty. Coach Tim Mickelson said "these kids wrestle hard against some tough competition. They get better every week."
Next week the Panthers travel to Cascade for a tournament.
Placing first was Tyson Turner, Eli Vidal, Logan Carabello and Vienna Diehm.
Second places went to JoSiah Evans, Coleman Brantner and Noah Vidal.
Third place finishers were Isaac and Aby Vidal, Nixon Munson, Vincent DiLorenzo and Ezekiel Bolt.
