On June 23, the City of White Salmon announced that Rheingarten Park’s Splash Pad would be closed, with a reopening date yet to be determined, as a result of vandalism. Public works believes that a metal pipe or some similar object was jammed into one of the sprayers via a grate. In the announcement, the city requested that all residents refrain from entering the area while it’s closed.
