Hood River Valley High School Speech and Debate team once again placed well in their competition at the South Medford Speech and Debate Tournament on March 7 through 9, taking home the First Place Tournament Team Sweepstakes Award. Some award highlights are Riley McNamara and Anson Pulk winning first place in Policy Debate, Abbey Carsley’s first place for Dramatic Interpretation, and Gillian Reed and Everen Garrett qualifying for World Schools Debate.
