STEVENSON — Skamania County Chamber of Commerce’s Skamania Sip and Stroll is back on Saturday, May 10 from noon to 5 p.m. in downtown Stevenson.
“We are excited for this year’s Sip and Stroll event.” said chamber Executive Director Angie Waiss. “It’s a fun-filled day and a great opportunity to showcase our local craft beverage as well as the shops, restaurants, hotels and other businesses in downtown Stevenson.”
Stroll through downtown Stevenson stopping at various businesses to enjoy beer, wine, mead and whiskey tastings.
Start at the Chamber office, 167 NW Second St., to pick up a souvenir tasting glass, six tasting tickets and a map of all the tasting locations and other activities, sales and live music for $25. This is a 21 and older event.
The event includes a lineup of craft beverage tastings, activities and entertainment.
“Skamania Sip and Stroll is not just a wine walk event — it’s a celebration of the vibrant local community and the unique flavors it has to offer,” said a chamber press release.
Attendees stroll through downtown and stop at various businesses to sample an array of beverages from the area’s breweries, wineries, and distilleries. In addition to beverages, there will be live music, activities and shopping throughout the day.
“Whether you’re looking to explore new beverages, peruse local shops, or spend an exhilarating afternoon with friends, Skamania Sip and Stroll offers something for everyone,” said the press release.
Tickets are available for purchase online at www.skamania.org/skamania-sip-and-stroll. Event passes are limited to 400 attendees and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
