Controlled substance violations (non-DUII):
Feb. 21 — Summit Drive, 4200 block — Male arrested for unlawful possession of heroin and a probation violation detainer. He was lodged at NORCOR.
Disorderly conduct, mischief, criminal trespass and vandalism:
Feb. 19 — Central Vale Drive, 4000 block — Criminal mischief reported.
Feb. 19 — Henderson Road — Female reported an ex-boyfriend coming to her house, reusing to leave and eventually causing damage to her house and a vehcile before leaving.
Feb. 20 — N.W. WaNaPa Street, 200 block, Cascade Locks — Criminal mischief I reported.
Driving under the influence of intoxicants:
Feb. 23 — Odell Highway, 3300 block — Male arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop for speeding. The male refused the breath test and a blood warrant was obtained. He was later lodged at NORCOR.
Identity theft or bank/credit card fraud:
Feb. 22 — Tucker Road, 2300 block — Fradulent use of a credit card reported.
Motor vehicle crashes, offenses and impounds:
Feb. 19 — Belmont Drive at Fairview Drive — Vehicle stopped; driver cited for no driver’s license and no insurance. The vehicle was towed.
Outstanding warrants, parole, probation or terms violations:
Feb. 19 — State Street, 300 block — Female arrested for a probation violation detainer and lodged at NORCOR.
Feb. 20 — State Street, 300 block — Male arrested for a probaiton violation.
Feb. 22 — Highway 35 at Willow Flat Road — During a traffic stop, it was confirmed that a male driver had a valid warrant out of Hood River County Circuit Court. He was arrested on the scene and lodged at NORCOR.
Theft, burglary or robbery:
Feb. 17 — Allen Road, 6900 block — The Hood River County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Salem Police Department with a stolen vehicle report.
Feb. 17 — Holly Drive, 3600 block — Theft of money, bank card and identification reported.
Feb. 18 — Icy Road, 1300 block — Resident reported two separate buglaries.
Feb. 22 — N.E. Gravel Pit Road, 0-100 block, Cascade Locks — Possible stolen umemployment checks and a payroll check reported. They were later discovered and returned to their owner.
Other:
Feb. 19 — Old Parkdale Road at Red Hill Road — Three males cited and released for unlawful cutting and transporting firewood following a traffic stop.
Feb. 21 — Tea Cup Snow Park — Deupty conducted a search and rescue. The victim self-rescued and was released on the scene by the Parkdale Fire Department after refusing medical attention.
Feb. 23 — Trout Creek Ridge Road, 6400 block — Deputies responded to a call for service that was deemed a medical issue after an investigation.
