Roger Whitecotton comes out of the new subterranean vault installed in the past two weeks at Rand Road and Sherman Avenue, as part of the City of Hood River’s water line upgrade. Whitecotton, Moses Schneider, center, and Kody Huss were conducting a pressure test on the new line from Sherman north to Cascade Avenue. The next phase will be south from Sherman to May Streets; look for closures on Rand and the west end of Sherman, and the Sherman-to-May stretch, as Crestline Construction works to complete the project by mid-August.
