April is Child Abuse Awareness Month and Columbia Gorge CASA is hosting Darin Mancuso, the Oregon Foster Care ombudsman, who will talk about the “Foster Children’s Bill of Rights” — a legal document that guarantees basic rights for the 11,000 children currently in foster care in Oregon.

This community presentation will be held on Wednesday, April 12 from 5:30–7 p.m. at the Mid-Columbia Medical Center Office Building, Conference Room 1, 1810 East 19th in The Dalles. RSVP is requested at 541-386-3468 or execdir@gorgecasa.org. Light snacks will be provided.
