National Farmers Market Week — Gorge Grown Food Network is celebrating National Farmers Market Week from Aug. 3-9. Gorge residents are invited to join in on the fun with numerous opportunities to shop at local farmers markets this week. The Gorge is home to farmers markets in Hood River, White Salmon, Odell, Stevenson, The Dalles and Trout Lake. Port of HR Foundation — The Port of Hood River Foundation is seeking community leaders to join the board of this newly formed nonprofit. Established Oct. 14, 2024, the foundation is focused on sustaining and bettering the community-serving properties in the Port of Hood River district, such as the airport and waterfront recreational spaces.
The Port of Hood River Foundation welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds.
