The U.S. Virgin Islands have long drawn travelers with white sand and turquoise water, but a new global ranking gives beach lovers three more reasons to visit.

Trunk Bay on St. John was named the No. 1 beach in the world in Beach.com’s 2026 Global Beach Index. Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge on St. Croix ranked No. 7, while Magens Bay Beach on St. Thomas came in at No. 17.
