(The Center Square) – Colorado Republicans Friday reacted to Gov. Jared Polis’ final State of the State, disputing the Democrat's comments that “real progress” is being made on the cost of living, crime, road infrastructure and state regulations.

Sen. Cleave Simpson, R-Alamosa, is the minority leader in the state Senate. He critiqued Polis’ focus on choice.
