Lisa Farquharson, president/CEO of The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce, said the 44th annual Northwest Cherry Festival “was truly a cherrific celebration.” Included in the festivities was a parade, an open-air vendor market and carnival, fun run and more. “Even with the Gorge’s famous winds giving us a challenge on Sunday, we were thrilled to see so many vendors, businesses, and attendees thriving,” Farquharson said.
