Improvements are planned at the District Office building next door, but the main event this spring and summer is the gutting of the 104-year-old Coe Building by Kirby Nagelhout Construction crews. Coe Building will become district offices and meeting space, while the current District Office will be transformed into the new alternative high school facility, as well as office space.
Community Education and Hood River Education Foundation have moved to the Hood River Aquatic Center and (current) District Office building, respectively.
