Hood River Valley High School students spent second period on May 17 working to clean up campus — inside and out. While students usually participate in Community Work Day, this year the event was scaled back to just the HRV campus due to the many snow days this winter. Called “Campus Pride Work Day,” students and staff picked up garbage, swept and did general yardwork outside, or helped clean classrooms, desks and walls inside.

The library was also given a thorough cleaning, as were the gym’s bleachers and floors.
