The Historic Columbia River Highway Advisory Committee will meet on June 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Troutdale at the Troutdale Sheriff’s Operations Center, located at 234 S.W. Kendall Court.
The agenda includes an update on Wyeth to Lindsey Creek construction and the U.S. 30 project in Mosier over the Union Pacific Railroad.

State agencies will host a celebration on Aug. 3 for the newest three-miles of the Historic Columbia River Highway State Trail.
The celebration will include speeches and a ribbon cutting, along with stations and booths for learning about the new trail and the environment through which it passes.
Construction continues in preparation for the late summer opening, according to a press release.

With the completion of this segment of trail, the state is closer than ever to fulfilling the decades-long vision of reconnecting the original “King of Roads,” the 73-mile continuous route through the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, according to a press release.
