Mark GibsonYvonne Pepin-Wakefield will be teaching an individually structured, friendly open studio ceramics class over the course of eight weeks at The Dalles Art Center.
The course will cover basic hand building and glazing techniques, focusing on the construction of both functional and nonfunctional low-fired clay projects. No experience is necessary. The class is for those who are curious about clay or who want to expand their ceramic skills in a supportive and light-hearted environment.
Class dates are March 3, 10,17, 24 and 31, April 7, 14, 28. Hours are 6 to 8 p.m.
Class cost covers four of the eight available classes, you can choose those classes that are most convenient. All eight classes can be taken for an additional fee of $20 per class. Register at The Dalles Art Center, 220 E 4th St., or call 541-296-4759, via email thedallesart@gmail.com.
