This week volunteers at Adopt A Dog have selected Sugar as the program’s adoptable pet of the week. They describe her as follows:
“Don’t miss out on sweet Sugar! She is a great young dog that is hard to find in that perfect 40 pound range. Perfect for playin’, fetchin’, snugglin’ and cuddlin’! Sugar really likes people and is up for whatever you want to do — walk, romp, fetch, eat TREATS! She gets along great with all the dogs at the shelter, but intros need to go slowly — Sugar is not too sure about the unknown and it takes a few minutes to feel safe. She has met a dog-savvy cat and had no idea what he was, but gave him a good sniff-sniff, and all was ok.
“Sugar walks well on leash, but would really rather run and she’s learned her basic manners easily —although again, meeting new people can take time for her, but not so much time as to miss out on having a new pal. Sugar is a quiet girl looking for love and understanding. We really like this gal and you will too!
“Sugar is housetrained, current on shots, microchipped and spayed. The adoption fee for Sugar is $185. The fee to adopt is charged to recoup standard veterinary expenses.
