THE DALLES — Early childhood education professionals are invited to an engaging, day-long learning experience at the upcoming Journey to the Stars: Building Brains and Supporting Big Feelings conference. Scheduled for Saturday, April 18, this event is designed to equip educators with practical, brain-based strategies to nurture emotional regulation and resilience in young children.
The conference will be held at the Fort Dalles Readiness Center, 402 E Scenic Drive, The Dalles, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Attendees will participate in sessions focused on building strong brains and supporting the emotional health of young children in inclusive environments. Key highlights include:
• Expert Training: ORO-approved training hours available in various core knowledge categories and sets.
• Language Accessibility: Sessions will be offered in both English and Spanish.
• Networking: Opportunities to connect with fellow child care professionals from across the region.
• Hospitality: A light breakfast, lunch, and beverages are included with registration.
• Prizes: Raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the day.
