Un Día de Teatro is a culturally-rich evening of Latin dance, music, and live theatre coming to the Columbia Center for the Arts on Aug. 27 and hosted by Angel Reyes, Jr.
The night includes a performance by local youth dancers Las Palomitas, a staged reading inspired by The Book of Unknown Americans performed by the award-winning Milagro Theatre, music and singing by guitarist Arturo Leyva, and beautiful flamenco dancing from Experience Flamenco.

Tickets are first-come, first-served, and tickets will not be held in Will Call. The theatre is open seating. Doors open at 6 p.m. It is suitable for all ages.
The Book of Unknown Americans by Cristina Henriquez tells the story of two families whose hopes collide with destiny, and how their experiences offer a new definition of what it means to be American. This engrossing play will be the centerpiece of the evening’s entertainment. Music, dance, theatre, and storytelling will all combine to make this an exceptional night of cultural exchange and engagement.
The event is free with a reserved tickets and is sponsored by Dr. Richard and Pat Schmuck and the Martha Staley Marks Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation.
