Dodgy Mountain Men return to Pint Shack
The Missoula "Stompgrass" outfit Dodgy Mountain Men are returning to the Pint Shack in Hood River on Tuesday, March 19. Since the release of their debut album “Stronger Than Death” last May, the band has completed two tours across the country. This promises to be a big year for the band — they’re kicking it off with a spring tour in March, with more festival dates to come. The Pint Shack, 105 Fourth St., Hood River; 541-387-7600.
Richard Wilkins at Naked Winery
The Richard Wilkins Blues Band is shaking up the Columbia River Gorge’s live music scene. Chicago jump-blues is the order of the day, with detours along the way into boogie-woogie, soulful ballads and blues-rock from the early to mid ‘60s. Miss Shevaughn & Yuma Ray
at Trillium Cafe March 25
In September 2012, Miss Shevaughn & Yuma Wray released their first full-length offering, entitled “We’re From Here.” Immediately afterwards, the Americana duo embarked on a two-month tour to support that release. Their latest digital-only album, “Live @ DC9,” was recorded during the final show of that 45-date venture last November. Critics are saying “We’re From Here” is a 15-song collection of Americana music that seamlessly jumps from sparse folk tunes to fuzzy guitar-filled garage rock. Barley Draught plays the Gorge
St. Patrick's Day falls on a Sunday but the Barley Draught band is celebrating all week. Come out and sing along with Barley Draught, the Gorge’s traditional Irish folk band, at your nearest opportunity.

Jazz, and crepes, at North Shore
North Shore Café, 166 E. Jewett, White Salmon, presents jazz with Cascade Trio on Friday, March 15, 5-8 p.m., and “Acoustic Crepe Sunday,” 8 a.m. to noon on March 17, with music by Mark Daly and crepes and fresh fruit mimosas available for purchase.
Owner Amber Nelson also hosts an open mic each Wednesday from 7-10 p.m. All events are free and for all ages.
