Al Scorch in HR July 30, Aug 2
Critics say, “Chicago singer/songwriter Al Scorch has a sound influenced by old timey country and bluegrass but also raw driving punk. Scorch adds his voice to the choir with the enthusiasm and charisma of a Maxwell Street preacher. With a stentorian bullhorn of a voice, he exhorts, not with a holy book in his hand, but a banjo and guitar.” Tour dates: Friday, July 29 at Skyway Bar (Zigzag); Saturday, July 30 at River City Saloon; Aug. 2 The Ruins at Springhouse Cellar.
