Local artist Marcy Huteson’s works are on display at Dog River Coffee in Hood River. Her display bio reads: “Hi! I’m an illustrator from Oregon. I try to create fun and playful art and tend to pull inspiration from here in the PNW. I generally work with bright and colorful palettes and this inspiration is from decorations and outfits from festivals in the Philippines. When I do this, I think of my art as a celebration of my background. I hope you enjoy my art!” You can find her work online under the name OpalMouse. She also teaches classes at Tokki Art Supply.
