WHITE SALMON — Due to a malfunction in the water system, water service was temporarily disrupted for customers within the Strawberry Mountain pressure zone. Service is currently being restored.
Because the Strawberry Mountain reservoir needed to be refilled, water quality testing must be completed to ensure the water is safe for consumption. As a precaution, residents in the affected area are advised to boil all water used for drinking, food preparation, and cooking for the next 24 hours.
Water system testing will begin Tuesday, January 27, at 3:30 p.m. and will continue until further notice. Test results are expected to be available by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. If testing must be extended, an additional notice will be issued.
This is a localized alert. Only the addresses listed below are affected; other areas of the city will not experience impacts. Residents are encouraged to review the provided map for specific details.
City officials appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation and will share updates as soon as testing is complete.
