THE DALLES — Main Street First Friday is back April 4 with another great night of specials, live music, sales and new vendors.
The First Friday Spring Release kicks off as we welcome two new businesses to downtown. The River City Saloon opened last week in their new location on the corner of Third and Kelly. This Gorge favorite formerly located in Hood River has made their way east bringing their excellent food and drinks, and we are excited to have another great live music venue in Little Music City.
Also with a soft opening this weekend is the new Firefly Clothing Boutique located across the street from Sigman’s Flowers & Gifts. You may have seen their fresh new look and mural created by local artist Jessenia Santana Art out front; come check them out from 4-7 p.m.
The Dalles Art Center will be hosting a youth program, “Kids Paint Night,” with exhibiting artist Kat Carroll. Register on their website.
Since implementation in 2013, The Dalles Main Street has seen great success in a number of areas including community clean up, beautification projects, historic preservation and revitalization. Join us this year for a stellar line up of First Fridays and fundraising events in beautiful, historic downtown The Dalles.
