I love this community so much, and I believe in political efficacy. I don’t think anyone should run unopposed. The timing was just right to step up to the task. I have the time and the business experience and acumen to dedicate to the Port.

John Stipan did not respond to the questionnaire. According to his candidate filing, Stipan lives in Cascade Locks, works in person-centered services and has worked for the Springdale Job Core. Stipan has served on the board eight years, and holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Bethany College.

I’ve been in love with the Gorge and Cascade Locks from the moment I first laid eyes on it on visits to the area. Now that I live here and have been getting to know the nature, citizens, and area, I know the port is the place that best suits my skill set and where I can make a positive impact for the community.
