THE DALLES — Columbia Gorge Honda has received the Honda Environmental Leadership Award, the auto industry’s first structured program that helps dealers measurably reduce their environmental impact.

The award reflects Columbia Gorge Honda’s success in meeting Honda’s rigorous performance and energy efficiency standards, along with proactive measures in water conservation and comprehensive recycling programs, said a press release. Key improvements at Columbia Goege Honda that contributed to this award include Solar panels and implementing smart energy management controls.
