Mid-Columbia Fire & Rescue held its annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony today, Sept. 11, "to honor the lives lost and the courageous first responders who answered the call on Sept. 11, 2001," reads a Facebook post. "We remember the 343 firefighters, 60 law enforcement officers, eight EMTs, and nearly 3,000 civilians whose lives were forever impacted that day. As we marked the 25th anniversary, we reflected on the enduring values of service, sacrifice, courage, and commitment that continue to guide our profession. Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning as we remembered, honored, and ensured that their legacy will never be forgotten."
