HOOD RIVER — After three years of dedicated service as the inaugural executive director of Big River Community Land Trust, Alysha Sherburne will conclude her tenure on Sept. 21. Big River CLT will continue its work to build permanently affordable housing and deepen community partnerships as the Board begins the search for the organization’s next executive director.
The board is grateful to Sherburne for her leadership in establishing and implementing the organization’s strategic plan. During her tenure, Big River CLT secured a $2 million federal appropriation to support construction of 42 affordable homes planned for Hood River and completed the organization’s first home sale on Tucker Road. We appreciate all Sherburne has contributed to the organization, the relationships she has built in the community, and the strong foundation she leaves for Big River CLT’s next chapter. We wish her all the best in her next endeavor.
