Timberline Ski Area on Mt. Hood's south side is offering pre-Thanksgiving skiing and sliding on the Palmer snowfield, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays-Sundays, weather permitting.

Lift tickets are $31 for adults and $22 for juniors and seniors. The snowfield is recommended for intermediate to advanced skiers and sliders only.
