White Salmon's Mt. Adams Fish and Game Association will be providing Hunter Safety Education classes the weeks of June 26 and July 7.
Those interested in taking the class should come to the Jewett Creek Park clubhouse on Thursday, June 22, at 6:30 p.m., to sign up.

Swimming:
Jessie Robertson of Trout Lake completed the Big Wave Challenge of swimming 10 events the weekend of May 20-21 in Camas.
The 13-year-old Hood River Valley Swim Team member finished in the top-10 in all 10 events she entered (her highest placement was a second in the 200-meter backstroke) and set personal records in half of her swims.
On the boys side, Matthew and Scott Bergstrom of Snowden each won one event to help lead HRVST's boys to third place in the seven-team meet with 266 points. Matthew, 9, posted five PRs while Scott, 11, recorded three.
The HRVST girls took fourth with 198 points. Corrie Brending, 10, White Salmon, had four PRs in swimming to two third- and two seventh-position finishes.
Work Party:
Washington State Parks and Columbia Gorge Windsurfing Association will hold a 9 a.m. to noon work party this Saturday at the Spring Creek Hatchery State Park.
Work will consist of litter pick-up, weed pulling, pruning, beach clean-up and building a rock stairway east of the vault toilet.
Volunteers are asked to bring the appropriate tools and to sign in with CGWA liaison Patrick Quigley or park staff.
CGWA volunteers will have a good chance to win lots of goodies from Dakine at the work party "free" raffle.
