The following defendants appeared in the Superior Court of Klickitat County on Nov. 29, 2010:
Roy Lee Burris, 49, of Wishram, pleaded guilty to delivery of methamphetamine in a school zone, possession of over 40 grams of marijuana, and use of a building for drug purposes and was sentenced to 40 months in state prison. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $3,859 including a mandatory $2,000 fine, $250 to the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office Drug Fund, and $300 in jail costs. The defendant will be on 12 months of supervision by the Department of Corrections upon his release. During that time the defendant must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and successfully complete any recommended treatment.
Ryan Jay Heaton, 24, of Goldendale, pleaded guilty to assault in the third degree and was sentenced to two months in the county jail. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $1,775 including $250 to the Goldendale Police Department Investigation Fund and $500 in jail costs. The defendant must also pay restitution to the victim in an amount to be determined at a later hearing. The defendant will be under the supervision of the Department of Corrections for 12 months and may not have contact with the victim for five years.
Willie Paul Burch, 32, of Goldendale, pleaded guilty to attempted taking motor vehicle without the owner's permission in the second degree and was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $1,675 including $250 to the Goldendale Police Department Investigation Fund and $500 in jail costs. The defendant must also pay restitution to the victim in an amount to be determined at a later hearing. The defendant will be on probation for 24 months during which time he must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and successfully complete any recommended treatment. The defendant may not have contact with the victim for two years.

Everett Charles Aleck, 38, of White Swan, pleaded guilty to felony violation of a domestic violence no contact order and was sentenced to 41 months in state prison. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $1,875 including $250 to the Goldendale Police Department Investigation Fund and $500 in jail costs. The defendant must also pay restitution to the victim in an amount to be determined at a later hearing. The defendant must undergo a Domestic Violence evaluation and successfully complete any recommended treatment. The defendant may not have contact with the victim for five years.
Travis O'Neal Barker, 21, of Dallesport, pleaded guilty to attempting to elude a pursuing police vehicle and was sentenced to two months in the county jail. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $1,905 including $250 to the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office Investigation Fund and $500 in jail costs. The defendant will also have his driver's license suspended by the Department of Licensing.
Daniel Luis Martinez, 30, of Carson, pleaded guilty to theft in the third degree and was sentenced to 22 days in the county jail. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $1,137.50 including $250 to the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office Investigation Fund. The defendant must pay restitution to the victim in an amount to be determined at a later hearing and may not have contact with the victim for two years. The defendant will be on probation for 12 months.
Benjamin Michael Noffsinger, 31, of Goldendale, pleaded guilty to assault in the fourth degree -- domestic violence and attempted possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to 20 days in the county jail. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $1,800 including $500 in jail costs and $250 to the Goldendale Police Department Investigation Fund. The defendant must also pay restitution to the victim in an amount to be determined at a later hearing. The defendant will be on 24 months of probation during which time he must undergo evaluations for substance abuse and domestic violence and successfully complete any recommended treatment. The defendant may not have contact with the victim for two years.
Brandon Wayne Feller, 26, of Goldendale, was terminated from the drug court program for repeated violations. The defendant was convicted of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug, and trespass in the second degree and was sentenced to three months in the county jail. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $2,775 including a mandatory $1,000 fine, $500 in jail costs, and $250 to the Goldendale Police Department Drug Fund. The defendant will be under the supervision of the Department of Corrections for 12 months after his release.
