The following defendants appeared in the Superior Court of Klickitat County on May 17, 2010:
Tommy Wayne Feller, 49, of Glenwood, plead guilty to intimidating a public servant and was sentenced to 12 months and one day in state prison. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $2,353 including $250 to the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office Investigation Fund and $500 in jail costs. The defendant will be under the supervision of the Department of Corrections for 12 months after his release.
Chad Paul Lynn Hall, 35, of The Dalles, plead guilty to assault in the third degree -- domestic violence and was sentenced to 33 months in state prison. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $1,955 including $500 jail costs and a $100 domestic violence assessment. The defendant must also pay restitution in an amount to be determined at a later hearing. The defendant will be on supervision by the Department of Corrections for 12 months after his release from custody. During that supervision the defendant must undergo evaluations for domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health issues and successfully complete any recommended treatment.
Norval Eugene Hoverson, 25, of Bingen, plead guilty to taking a motor vehicle without the owner's permission in the second degree and was sentenced to 22 months in state prison. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $1,819 including $250 to the Bingen-White Salmon Police Department Investigation Fund and $500 in jail costs. The defendant must also pay restitution to the victim in an amount to be determined at a later hearing and may not have contact with the victim for five years.
Michael Joseph Sampson, 24, of Lyle, plead guilty to possession of methamphetamine and was sentenced to six months in the county jail. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $2,838 including $250 to the Klickitat County Sheriff's Office Drug Fund and a $1,000 fine. The defendant will be under the supervision of the Department of Corrections for 12 months after his release. During that time the defendant must undergo a substance abuse evaluation and successfully complete any recommended treatment.
Scott Allen Mills, 50, of Fulton, N.Y., plead guilty to theft in the second degree and was sentenced to 30 days in jail. The defendant must pay all standard court costs totaling $1,835 including $250 to the Goldendale Police Department Investigation Fund and $500 in jail costs. The defendant must also pay restitution to Broadway Automotive and Goldendale Rental Center in amounts to be determined at a later hearing. The defendant is to have no contact with those businesses for five years.
