A 17-year-old Toppenish teen was injured in a one-vehicle accident on State Route 97, one mile east of Goldendale. The accident occurred on March 5, 2008, at 2:25 p.m.
According to the report, Roberto Guel, 17, Toppenish, was driving a 2005 Chevrolet northbound on SR 97. The vehicle touched the centerlane rumble strip. The driver overcorrected to the right and struck a bridge rail. The vehicle exited the roadway to the left.
Guel was transported to Klickitat Valley Hospital in Goldendale with left hand abrasions and a jammed left thumb.
He was charged with negligent driving.

A firefighter from Washougal Fire District 4, located a missing Vancouver female at approximately 1:50 p.m. on Monday afternoon.
CJ Henson, a volunteer with Washougal Fire District 4, located Theresa Fleming, 75, walking on the DNR 2000 road above Dougan Falls on the upper Washougal River area. Her vehicle was located at approximately milepost 4 on the DNR 2000 road with a dead battery. She had spent the night in her vehicle after getting stuck in the snow.
She was transported to OHSU to be checked by medical personnel. It is unknown what her medical condition is at this time.
MINT
On Feb. 21, 2008, Detectives from the Mid-Columbia Interagency Narcotics Task Force (MINT), Officers from The Hood River County Sheriff's Office and The Hood River City Police Department executed a search warrant at 3661 Chevron Dr., in Odell. Seized during the warrant were approximately 21 grams of marijuana, and additional paraphernalia and equipment used for illicit drug trafficking and use.
Michael Vanalstyne, 19,, and Rose Saunders, 18, were both subsequently lodged at The Northern Oregon Correctional Facility, NORCOR.
Vanalstyne was lodged for the unlawful delivery and possession of marijuana.
Saunders was lodged for frequenting a place where illegal drugs are used, and/or sold.
