Plan ahead: Bridge closures for Tuesday morning

Port of Hood River bridge engineers will conduct four separate twenty-minute lifts of the bridge's lift span between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12 to conduct surveys of each lift span tower. The work is related to lift span alignment issues thought to be the result of a suspected vessel striking the lift span pier in fall of 2015.

During the closures, bridge users should expect up to 20-minute delays.
