Do you know of a special senior volunteer who has made a difference to Klickitat County?
Each year during May, Older American's Month, the Southwest Washington Agency on Aging and the Klickitat Senior Council recognize an outstanding Klickitat County senior whose exemplary volunteer contributions have made a positive difference in Klickitat County.
Please help select and recognize Klickitat County seniors for this honor based on the following criteria: outstanding achievement in volunteer roles, local community involvement, and serves as a community service role model.
Nomination forms are available at Klickitat County Senior Services in White Salmon, 493-3068, or Goldendale, 773-3757.
All nomination materials must be returned to the offices of the Southwest Washington Agency on Aging, 7414 N.E. Hazel Dell Avenue, Vancouver, Wash. 98665 by Friday, June 10, 2005.
A committee of Klickitat County peers will select the 2005 honoree from nominations received.
The recognition event will occur during the annual Klickitat County Senior Picnic at Maryhill State Park.
