Individual game tickets will cost $1 more for Columbia High home football games in 2006--$5 for adults, $4 for visiting students with ASB cards.
The increases are the result of action by the boards of SW Washington District 4 and the SW Washington 1A League, CHS Athletic Director Howard Kreps said.
"It economics," Kreps said. "The league felt the ticket prices haven't kept up with the costs, so it made the change. But all the money goes to programs for the kids."
Another change--initiated by CHS--is in the price White Salmon students in elementary and middle school will have to pay for admission.
Those students, when unaccompanied by a parent, will be charged $10 to get into CHS Stadium.
As incentive for students to bring their parents to games, CHS is offering a $15 per game family pack.
Also available are season passes: $125 for families, $60 per adult and $20 per senior age 60 and older.
