Goldendale used a balanced offense and a stingy defense to shut out Lyle-Klickitat-Wishram, 38-0, in a non-league prep football game last Friday in Lyle.
Running back Nick Dohrman paced the Timberwolves--who won for the first time this season in three tries--rushing 20 times for 171 yards and three touchdowns, and making two receptions for 28 yards.
The 1A Timberwolves' passing game featured a 158-yard effort by quarterback Shane Bare (8 for 12), who hooked up with T.J. Lund on a 43-yard scoring connection in the second quarter for a 19-0 GHS lead.
Dohrman scored from 7 yards out later in the quarter to send Goldendale to the locker rooms with a 25-0 halftime advantage.
B-11 LKW, which ran 45 plays and netted a season-high 73 yards of offense, was led by fullback Noah LaFrenz, who finished with 33 yards in 10 carries and caught three of quarterback Reggie Grace's four completions.

The 0-3 Cougars host the Chief Leschi Warriors (0-2) this Friday for a non-league game that starts at 7 p.m.
Chief Leschi, of Puyallup, is a member of the SeaTac League. The Warriors have lost to Cleveland, 24-7, and to White Swan, 41-6.
