Share this article paywall-free Email Copy Link Columbia High School's Chelsea Ludwig and Chani Weiler were the only freshmen named to the Trico Division's 2003 12-member girls soccer first team.Ludwig earned first-team honors as a defender, while Weiler garnered hers as a midfielder playing for the first-year Bruins.CHS didn't have any second-team selections. However, it did have three honorable-mention choices.They were sophomore midfielder Jessica Emanuele, sophomore forward Kelley McNallan, and freshman goalkeeper Kelsey Kidd.Offensive and defensive player of the year honors went to Ashley Biral of Castle Rock. Woodland's Jeff Flanagan received the coach of the year award.
