The Hood River County Historical Museum will be holding an Antique Appraisal Fair on March 31 from noon to 4 p.m.
The Appraisal Fair gives visitors a chance to bring in their family treasure and discuss its history and value with a licensed appraiser.
Guests are asked to bring only one item for appraisal to begin with -- if time allows towards the end of the show -- more items might be shared.
Reservations are required since only approximately 10 items can be appraised within each hour of the four hour event.
"This is one of our most popular events we hold each year," said Connie Nice, museum coordinator. "People seem to really enjoy coming to see and hear about the interesting variety of items that people bring in."
Appraisers for the event are Sandra Millius and Jeff Motsinger, principals of Millius Estate Services. They are both members of the International Society of Appraisers and are accredited through ISA.
The museum is requesting a donation of $5 per item appraised to help defray the cost of the event.
