"How elder-friendly is your community?" That is the title of a community forum on senior issues sponsored by the Southwest Washington Agency on Aging and its advisory council.
The forum is scheduled for Monday, April 23, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m., at the Pioneer Center, 501 NE Washington Street in White Salmon.
Older adults, adults with disabilities, and their care-givers are invited to share their views on the following topics: information and assistance for people seeking services for seniors; support for family caregivers and kinship caregivers; personal care services provided in the client's home; opportunities and resources for healthy aging; transportation.
This forum is designed to help the Southwest Washington Agency on Aging to prepare its new strategic plan for 2008-2011.
