Embarq invites interested photographers to participate in the creation of the company's 2008 Columbia Gorge directory cover, which will be issued in June this year.
The company is seeking photography depicting life or scenery within the local service areas of the Gorge, which includes communities from Goldendale to Stevenson in Washington and from Cascade Locks to Arlington in Oregon.
Whether you're an amateur or professional, you're invited to participate. The photographer whose work is chosen will receive $350.
Several formats are acceptable for submitting photography. Color slides or color transparencies, as well as electronic files (CDs) that are at least 300 dpi, may be mailed or hand-delivered to Betty Osborne at Embarq, 902 Wasco Street, MS #A0402, Hood River, Ore. 97031. Images may also be emailed directly to betty.osborne@embarq.com.
Vertical images (as opposed to horizontal) are requested.
The deadline for submitting photography is Friday, March 14.
